1. Acceptance
Santhati (“the Service”) is a tool for building and visualising family trees. By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use Santhati.
2. Your account
You sign in with Google or Facebook. You are responsible for activity under your account. Tell us at the contact below if you believe your account has been accessed without permission.
3. Family information you add
You may add information about relatives (names, relationships, dates, places, photos, and optional contact details). You are responsible for the accuracy of what you add and for having a reasonable basis to add information about living people. Do not add sensitive information about others without their consent. By default, details of living people are hidden from people who are not family owners or stewards — see our Privacy Policy.
4. Ownership and stewardship
Family groups (“surname capsules”) have owners and stewards who can edit and manage them. Editing and deletion follow the in-app ownership and review process; some changes may require a request to the current owner or an admin.
5. Acceptable use
Do not misuse the Service: no unlawful, abusive, or infringing content; no attempts to access other users’ private data; no automated scraping or attempts to disrupt the Service.
6. Termination
You may stop using Santhati at any time and request deletion of your account. We may suspend accounts that violate these Terms.
7. Disclaimer
The Service is provided “as is” without warranties. To the extent permitted by law, Santhati is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.
8. Changes
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date above.
